Choose a slate, personalise it in our studio and press “Order via WhatsApp”. Your design details and a link to your preview are added to a WhatsApp message for you to send. We will reply to confirm the details and prepare your proof.

Not yet. Your message is an enquiry. We confirm your order after you have approved your proof, and we arrange payment with you at that point.

Yes. You will see a live preview as you design, and we send you a proof of the final engraving. Nothing is engraved until you approve it.

The preview shows your words in the chosen layout, lettering and slate size. It is an illustration: slate is a natural stone, so the texture, edges and engraving contrast of your piece will vary slightly. Your proof shows exactly what we will engrave.

You are welcome to type the Arabic spelling yourself. If you are unsure, tick the confirmation box in the studio and we will agree the spelling with you on your proof — we never guess.

Yes. Use Create Your Own to start from any layout or your own words, and add notes about what you have in mind. We will discuss it with you on WhatsApp.

Our slates come in two sizes: Standard, 15 × 23 cm, and Large, 20 × 30 cm. Door slates are 20 × 30 cm, and our coasters and round keepsakes are about 10 cm (4 in) across. Availability depends on the design.

Our gift slates come in a presentation gift box with a foam insert and a display stand. Memorial slates come with a metal memorial plaque holder, and door slates are supplied with pre-drilled holes for hanging.

Slate is split by hand from natural stone, so every piece has its own texture, tone and edge. That natural character is part of what makes each slate unique.

We deliver with Royal Mail: Royal Mail Tracked 48 £3.65, Royal Mail Tracked 24 £4.80 or Royal Mail Next Day £11.95. Choose your option when you send us your design.

Yes. If your proof is approved by 12pm (midday), we can offer Royal Mail next-day delivery. See our Delivery Information page for the options and prices.

Once your proof is approved we will send you payment details or a secure payment link. We never ask for card details over WhatsApp, and our website does not collect card numbers.
